The PGA Jr. League’s Team Oklahoma enjoyed a special trip to Southern Hills Country Club in April to get a sneak peek at the venue that would soon be host to the PGA Championship and the second major of 2022.

Team Oklahoma is no stranger to prestigious venues as they finished third at the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League National Championship at Greyhawk Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona in 2021.

During their visit to preview Southern Hills Country Club, the juniors had a chance to get to know Cameron Young, who is a rookie on the PGA Tour.

Young will make just his fourth major start when he makes his debut at the PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club. The 24-year-old heads into his first PGA Championship in top form and will be a player to watch as he’s coming off back-to-back top 3 finishes on the PGA Tour.
Team Oklahoma will definately be cheering him on.
