Stephan Jaeger replaced Daly in the field at Oak Hill Country.
Daly won the 1991 PGA Championship, his first of 2 Major Titles, at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana.
Daly, who also won the 1995 Open Championship, has a total of 29 appearances in the PGA Championship.
