Jason Day made history with his victory at the 2015 PGA Championship, when he became the fifth Australian to hoist the Wanamaker Trophy. Day, who held a share of the first round lead, is in the hunt for his second major title this week at TPC Harding Park. The Aussie’s strong showing on day one should come as no surprise as he’s recorded three consecutive top 10s since returning to the PGA Tour following the hiatus due to COVID-19.
