The four-time DP World Tour winner earned his first victory in 2015 in the South African Open Championship, and last won in 2020 when he captured the English Championship. His best performance to date in 16 major championship starts is a tie for 12th in The Open in 2016. As an amateur, he was a member of the victorious 2011 Great Britain & Ireland Walker Cup team. He won the Scottish Amateur Open Stroke Play title the same year.
