Enjoyed a brilliant amateur career that saw him be South Africa's top amateur when he turned professional.
He played in the Junior World Cup and Junior Presidents Cup (twice), while also winning the Junior Players Championship and finishing sixth at the South African Open in 2020 before entering the paid ranks.
A Sunshine Tour Rookie of the Year, he played on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2022 and in 2023 finished 104th on the Race to Dubai despite starting the season without membership, qualifying for the DP World Tour Play-Offs in the following two campaigns.
Won back-to-back DP World Tour titles - both via a play-off - at the Alfred Dunhill Championship on home soil and then the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in late 2025.
Climbed into the top 50 on the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time after a top-five finish at the 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic
