TICKETING FAQS

TICKETS & ORDER SUPPORT

As a result of the reduced attendance measures being implemented, many ticket orders for the 2021 PGA Championship can no longer be fulfilled.

All ticket holders will receive emailed updates regarding the status of their order.

Q. I purchased tickets for the 2021 PGA Championship. How does the reduced attendance announcement impact me?

A. As a result of the measures being implemented for spectator health and well-being, many ticket orders for the 2021 PGA Championship can no longer be fulfilled. All ticket holders who purchased tickets from the PGA will receive an email detailing next steps. If you do not receive this email, please contact ticket order support at tickets@thepga.com or (855) 295-9887, Monday - Friday (10:00am - 4:00pm Arizona Mountain Time).

Due to high volume, inquiries from those requiring assistance in requesting a ticket refund will be prioritized.

Q. How do I request a refund?

A. If you purchased tickets directly from the PGA, you will receive an email providing updates on the status of your order. Refund instructions will be provided within this communication. Refund requests cannot be submitted over the phone or via email to the general inbox.

Q. Will tickets be automatically refunded?

A. No. All ticket holders will be required to complete a refund request form and verify specific order details to receive a refund. This is a required measure to prevent fraud because all existing orders are older than 120 days.

Q. I forget my registration group. Where can I find this information?

A. Before contacting Ticket Order Support, please check your email inbox for any communication from a tickets@pga.com address with a subject line of, “2021 PGA Championship Ticket Registration” between February - August 2020. While registrants in Groups C - L are less likely to retain their ticket order, there is no guarantee that all Group A - B orders will be fulfilled.

Due to high volume, inquiries from those requiring assistance in requesting a ticket refund will be prioritized.

Q. How long will it take to receive a response to my online refund request?

A. Once a refund request is successfully submitted, each requestor will be shown a thank-you screen with the date and time stamp of the submission. You will receive an email confirmation when your order has been canceled, within 7-14 days of your refund request. Please allow an additional 3-5 business days after order cancellation for the refund to post to your account. The credit will appear on your card statement as PGA Ticket Sales.

Q. What should I do if I have not received an email or cannot access the email address my tickets were purchased with?

A. Please contact ticket order support at tickets@thepga.com or (855) 295-9887, Monday - Friday (10:00am - 4:00pm Arizona Mountain Time).

Please note: Refund requests cannot be submitted over the phone or via email. Ticket order support will only be able to assist in updating your email record.

Q. I would like my refund to go to a different card than the original card used. I do not have the original card used anymore or the credit card account is closed.

A. Refunds are processed to the original card on file. If that card is no longer active, lost, compromised, etc. the funds may reroute to the bank account that the card is associated with. If you need a different card refunded than what was originally on file you are able to enter that new card for your refund. At that point, it will prompt you to confirm some information from your order. When filling this out please try your billing AND shipping zip code if you get an error. If you do not remember the last 4 digits of the original card used, please contact that bank to get that information as we cannot provide that.

Q. I am receiving an 'unable to retain credit card' error.

A. This error occurs when the card that you are trying to refund is showing as an invalid card. This typically happens when customers are trying to refund a card that is no longer active or has no funds in the account, therefore seeming invalid in our system. If you are getting this error, please try refunding to another debit/credit card.

Q. I am still having difficulties getting my refund.

A. Please contact ticket order support at tickets@thepga.com or (855) 295-9887, Monday - Friday (10:00am - 4:00pm Arizona Mountain Time).

If you have not received this email, you can contact PRIMESPORT Customer Service at (800) 591-9198, Monday – Friday (9:00am – 7:00pm Eastern Standard Time).

Q. What if I purchased tickets from an entity other than the PGA?

A. If your ticket was purchased from a secondary market website other than PGAChampionship.com or PRIMESPORT, please contact that site directly. We are unable to process refunds for those tickets.

Q. How will I receive my ticket(s)?

A. All retained tickets will be delivered digitally to the purchaser via email in April 2021.

Q. Can I give my ticket to a family member or friend?

A. Tickets may be used by an individual other than the primary purchaser. However, each ticket may only be scanned at the gate once for admission.

Q. Am I allowed to leave the property and then come back later in the day?

A. There will be no daily re-entry to the grounds. If you leave the grounds, you must have an unscanned ticket to return to the Championship. Once your ticket has been scanned, it will no longer provide admission. The only exception is when the Weather Warning signs have been posted.

Q. I still plan to attend the Championship. Will face coverings be required?

A. Yes. Face coverings will be required for all spectators, staff, and volunteers at the 2021 PGA Championship. Face coverings should be worn at all times, indoors, outdoors, and when riding any PGA-operated shuttle.

Guests should bring their own CDC approved face covering or cloth mask from home. Per CDC guidelines, a face shield is not an appropriate substitute for a face covering. Face coverings should fit snugly around the sides of the face and cover the nose, mouth, and chin.

Q. What other measures are being taken to promote the health and well-being of those in attendance?

A. The PGA of America has developed extensive health and wellness policies for the 2021 PGA Championship in partnership with the state of South Carolina, public health officials, and our Medical Services Provider MUSC Health. To learn more about the PGA’s Commitment to Health, click here.

Q. Who will be able to attend the Championship?

A. A limited number of original ticket orders will be retained based on a combination of factors, including the purchaser's original registration group, time of purchase, and daily inventory available. Those who are chosen to retain their ticket order will receive emailed instructions detailing how to proceed.

Q. Will juniors be able to attend the Championship free of charge?

A. The PGA of America will be unable to extend its standard junior admission policy that provides complimentary access for juniors ages 17 & under with a ticketed adult in 2021 due to spectator limitations. Spectators of all ages are still permitted to attend the event but must hold a valid ticket. The PGA of America continues its commitment to growing the game of golf through PGA Jr. League, the flagship youth pillar program of PGA REACH and we look forward to reinstating the complimentary policy at future Championships.

Q. Do you have a policy for members of the military?

A. The PGA of America has a time-honored tradition of offering complimentary daily grounds passes to qualifying military members. Unfortunately, due to spectator limitations, the PGA will not be able to honor this commitment in 2021. The PGA of America will continue to support PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), the flagship military program of PGA REACH. We look forward to reinstating the complimentary policy at future Championships.
