PGA Golf Instructor at Pebble Brook Golf Club making his PGA Championship debut after a T-9 in the 2025 PGA Professional Championship.
Winner, 2024, ‘23, ‘22 Indiana PGA Assistant Player of the Year, the 2023, ‘22 Indiana PGA Assistant Championship and the 2022 Indianapolis Open. Played two seasons on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2017 (12 events) and 2019 (11 events). Played 59 events on the PGA TOUR Latinoamerica (2015-19), including three runner-up finishes.
In 2023, he became part of the second-ever father-son duo to be inducted in the Ball State Athletics Hall of Fame as he joined his father, Scott, who was inducted in 1988. Son of Scott Steger, PGA Director of Instruction at Pebble Brook Golf Club and 38-year PGA Member. Scott Steger played in six PGA Professional Championships (1988-93) and the 1994 PGA Championship. Scott and Eric are the only father-son duo to win the Indiana State Open or the Indiana State Amateur in the history of the Indiana PGA Section. Eric’s mother, Donna, also played golf at Ball State.
Started Pebble Brook Golf Club’s first-ever PGA HOPE program, which included 30 veterans.
